2022 Ford Bronco Sport
For those adventurous types, Ford offers the 2022 Bronco Sport. Ford took the classic and iconic Bronco and completely redesigned it to provide optimal power and performance, along with comfort and advanced technology. If you're looking for your next SUV to tackle your adventurous lifestyle, look no further than the 2022 Ford Bronco Sport.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
With names befitting the 2022 Ford Bronco Sport's adventurous nature, the trims available are the Base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, Badlands, and First Edition. The Base comes standard with a safari-style roof and a bottle opener in the rear hatch for celebrating getting to the destination. The Big Bend offers up rear floodlights, a manual liftgate, and rear glass that flips up to bring the outdoors in.
Upgrading to the Outer Banks trim adds upgraded 18-inch machined-face ebony wheels, white Bronco badging, and a black grille. Moving up to the Badlands trim offers optional crossbars, a Slim Shady awning, and a Yakima Skyrise HD tent for getting all your gear out to and enhancing your camping experience. Finally, the First Edition adds bold, black Bronco lettering and a carbonized gray grille.
Engine (Power)
Two engine options are available for the 2022 Bronco Sport. First up is the 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine, which produces 181 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque and features automatic start-stop technology to enhance fuel economy. This engine is equipped on the Base, Big Bend, and Outer Banks trims. The other engine is a 2.0-liter EcoBoost turbocharged engine delivering 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque and is the engine of choice for the Badlands and First Edition trims.
Performance
The Bronco Sport is purpose-built for the trail and that shows in its performance features. First of all, four-wheel drive is standard across all trims for the traction and grip you need to navigate any terrain. Building upon that is the G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Terrain) system that offers five different drive modes to tailor the performance to your current needs. These modes are sand, sport, eco, slippery, and normal. The Badlands trim features additional modes for mud and rock crawling and a suspension system tweaked for better off-road performance.
Interior
While having the capability to handle the trail, interior comfort and technology are also crucial to maximize the experience. The 2022 Ford Bronco Sport features SYNC 3 infotainment with voice recognition, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, and cloth seating standard on the Base. The Big Bend trim offers a voice-activated touch-screen navigation system, SiriusXM satellite radio, and smart-charging USB ports.
Upgrading to the Outer Banks trim adds heated, leather-trim seats as well as a leather-wrapped, heated steering wheel. The Badlands trim upgrades include automatic temperature control and rubberized flooring to make cleanup a snap. The First Edition adds a power moonroof and unique First Edition leather seats.
Safety Features
No matter if you're driving to town or heading way off-road, safety is of paramount concern. To this end, the 2022 Ford Bronco Sport offers the Ford Co-Pilot360 system standard, including a rearview camera, a blind-spot information system with cross-traffic alert, a pre-collision assist system with automatic emergency braking, Personal Safety System, SOS Post-Crash Alert System, and a Safety Canopy air bag system.
