Here at Rochester Ford, we conduct our trade process with one thing in mind – you. Using the same online tools as you, we can come together on a trade figure for your vehicle based on shared information and market conditions. Here is how our trade process works at Rochester Ford:

• While we have online tools that allow us to effectively assess your vehicle’s value, it is always most accurate and effective when we physically evaluate your vehicle. So, step one is to schedule a time to visit one of our locations.
• Once you arrive, one of our Sales Consultants will gather all the necessary information from you about your vehicle, such as VIN, trim level, mileage, and accessories added.
• We will then input that information into our online trade tool to pull up a vehicle history report, analyze market conditions, and get an estimate of value.
• Once we have this information, your Sales Consultant will introduce you to a professional evaluator to do a brief road test with you to assess the physical and mechanical condition of your vehicle.
• Upon return, the evaluator will account for any reconditioning your vehicle needs, arrive at your vehicle’s value, and present the results and supporting information so you can feel confident you’re getting a fair value.
• The best part – whether you trade your vehicle in on a vehicle in our inventory, or just want to sell us your vehicle, the value is the same! We just need your title, and lien release if applicable, and the transaction is complete.
• You either apply the value toward another vehicle as a trade-in, taking advantage of some great tax benefits, or we give you a check. Simple.

We are also more than happy to conduct an online evaluation. The steps are very similar, but we will need to assess the vehicle’s condition through photos and a specific set of questions. Once we arrive at a value, we will then validate all the information upon seeing the vehicle in person.
