2023 Ford Bronco Sport
The Ford Bronco Sport is a superb choice for drivers who want all the best features of the classic Ford Bronco, from off-road ruggedness to spacious seating. With its powerful performance, tough qualities, and advanced technology both inside and out, the Bronco Sport has everything you need to boost your rides. Browse all the information you need about the five-seat 2023 Ford Bronco Sport below.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The Bronco Sport SUV comes in six variations to fit your outdoor preferences: the Standard model, Big Bend, Heritage, Outer Banks, Badlands, and Heritage Limited. Each has a distinct appeal, gets better and more equipped, and has a different function — like the Badlands being suited for rock climbing. One significant new feature for 2023 is a Black Diamond off-road package.
The word "Bronco" is inscribed over the grille in capital letters. You can access the baggage area without having to lift the hatch by independently opening the glass on the back door. The large, squared-off lines of the classic Bronco are echoed in the Bronco Sport. The dimensions are 172.7 inches long, 70.2 inches tall, or 71.4 inches with the two-liter engine, and 82.2 inches wide when the mirrors are extended.
Engine (Power)
The 2023 Bronco Sport comes standard with a three-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 181 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque. A four-cylinder turbocharged engine with 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque is standard on the Badlands and Heritage Limited. Both have an eight-speed automatic transmission, but the more powerful engine adds enhanced cooling systems and steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
Performance
The 2023 Ford Bronco Sport's rapid steering allows for graceful turns on paved roads or dirt, and depending on the engine, it can tow 2,000 or 2,200 pounds. An all-wheel drive is still an option, and the GOAT (Go Over Any Terrain) technology will undoubtedly open up new routes. Higher models come with improved all-terrain tires and up to five GOAT driving modes, including Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, and Sand. Any rough terrain or camping vacation will be a smooth voyage in the Bronco Sport.
Interior
The Bronco Sport's upright form and high roofline provide plenty of headroom in both rows. Ford's famed SYNC 3 infotainment system benefits from user-friendly menus and quick responses, but there are physical buttons and knobs that are clearly labeled and conveniently located too. The list of standard infotainment features includes an 8-inch touchscreen, a six-speaker radio, voice recognition, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and several USB ports. GPS, wireless device charging, Bang & Olufsen audio with 10 speakers, satellite radio, and HD Radio are among the available upgrades.
Safety Features
Standard safety features include forward collision warning, forward automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic high-beam headlamps, a rearview camera, and MyKey. The latter enables Ford drivers to specify restricted settings on audio volume and speed for secondary drivers, such as teens practicing for their licenses. Stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, lane-centering assistance, traffic sign recognition, evasive steering assistance, rain-sensing wipers, and rear parking sensors are just a few examples of available driver-aid technologies.
