2019 Ford Expedition

Three trim levels are available with the new Expedition: XLT, Limited, and Platinum. All three trims are also available in a MAX model, which features an extended wheelbase and more cargo space. With the XLT trim comes 18-inch aluminum wheels, a manual liftgate, a single exhaust, halogen fog lights, halogen headlights, daytime running lights, black roof-rack side rails, a Class IV trailer hitch receiver, and power-adjustable and heated mirrors. <br></br> The Limited trim offers 20-inch aluminum wheels, a hands-free and foot-activated liftgate, bright roof-rack side rails, power-folding mirrors with memory and turn-signal indicators, and an auto-dimming driver's side mirror. With the Platinum trim you'll get 22-inch aluminum wheels, rain-sensing wipers, LED fog lights, LED head- and taillights, aluminum roof-rack side rails, roof-rail crossbars, and a panoramic vista roof.

Only one engine is featured with the Expedition: a 3.5-liter EcoBoost, paired to a 10-speed automatic, generating 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and four-wheel-drive optional.

When equipped with the Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow package, your Expedition will deliver a best-in-class tow rating of up to 9,300 pounds. Standard and advanced trailer features also assist in a safe towing experience. The standard AdvanceTrac with RSC system features trailer sway control that automatically controls braking to individual wheels and engine power when sway is detected. <br></br> An available blind-spot information system with trailer coverage takes the trailer in consideration when checking for blind spots, while the Pro Trailer Backup Assist system will help you when backing up with a trailer. With this system, you simply turn a knob left or right to indicate the direction you want the trailer to go. <br></br> If you're into off-roading, an available off-road package offers electronic limited-slip differential, premium off-road shocks, a heavy-duty radiator, skid plates, all-terrain tires, and many other features that will equip your Expedition to handle rough terrain.

The cabin of the Expedition can comfortably accommodate up to eight passengers. Exceptional roomy cargo space is also featured with the Expedition, and an available advanced cargo manager will assist you in organizing luggage efficiently. The XLT trim offers the SYNC 3 infotainment system that features an 8-inch display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, four USB ports, SiriusXM, and six speakers. With this trim also comes cloth upholstery, a power-adjustable driver's seat, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a rotary rear shift dial, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, push-button start. <br></br> The Limited trim features perforated leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, power-folding second- and third-row seats, heated second-row seats, a power-adjustable passenger's seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless charging, a heated steering wheel, a remote start system, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system. With the Platinum trim you'll get massaging front seats, real wood accents, and enhanced active noise control.

Available driver-assist features included with the new Expedition include a forward sensing system, a 360-degree camera, enhanced active park assist, adaptive cruise control, auto high-beam headlights, lane-keeping system, and pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection.
