The Expedition lineup begins with the Active, featuring a standard 400-hp 3.5L EcoBoost® V6, a 24-inch panoramic display, a 13.2-inch center touchscreen, Trailer Tow Prep Package, and the innovative Power Ford Split Gate. Platinum adds heated first- and second-row seats, available 440-hp High-Output EcoBoost® power, premium appearance packages, and available luxury upgrades. Tremor is built for adventure with standard 4x4, 33-inch all-terrain tires, a 3.73 electronic-locking differential, Rock Crawl Mode, and the High-Output engine. King Ranch® combines authentic Del Rio leather, Kingsville stitching, exclusive bronze accents, BlueCruise, and premium craftsmanship throughout the cabin. Each trim is also available in Expedition MAX form, providing nearly a foot of additional cargo length and substantially greater cargo volume behind the third row.

The standard twin-turbocharged 3.5L EcoBoost® V6 produces 400 hp and 480 lb.-ft. of torque, while the available High-Output version increases output to 440 hp and 510 lb.-ft. Both engines are paired with a responsive 10-speed automatic transmission and are available with 4x2 or Intelligent 4WD, depending on trim. Properly equipped 4x4 models achieve a maximum towing capacity of up to 9,600 lbs., providing the capability to tow campers, boats, and large utility trailers with confidence.
