Trim Levels (Exterior)
Many different configurations are available with the new F-250. You can opt for a regular cab, extended cab, or crew cab, and you can also choose between a 6.8- or an 8.2-foot bed. There are six trim levels: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited. With the XL trim comes halogen headlamps, cargo-area lights, tie-down hooks, front tow hooks, 17-inch steel wheels, manually-adjustable telescoping towing mirrors, and a 2.5-inch trailer hitch receiver. The XLT trim adds a power tailgate, 18-inch aluminum wheels, and heated mirrors. <br></br> With the Lariat trim, you'll get fog lamps, tubular side steps, power-adjustable and heated mirrors, and a power-sliding rear window. The King Ranch trim features LED box lighting, mirror memory, remote tailgate release, automatic high beams, automatic wipers, and power-folding mirrors, while the Platinum trim boasts LED fog lights, LED head- and taillights, a tailgate step with tailgate assist, and 20-inch polished aluminum wheels. With the Limited trim comes a power-operated moonroof.
Engine (Power)
Two engines are featured with the F-250. The standard engine is 6.2-liter V-8, mated to a six-speed automatic, that generates 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. On option is a 6.7-liter turbocharged V-8 diesel engine, also married to a six-speed automatic, that kicks out 450 horsepower and 935 pound-feet of torque. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel-drive optional.
Performance
The F-250 is easily one of the top performers in its class, boasting a maximum tow capacity of 18,500 pounds and a maximum payload capacity of 7,640 pounds. With the F-250 also comes many handy standard and available features. Standard features include trailer sway control, an integrated trailer brake controller, and hill start assist. <br></br> On option are convenient features such as a trailer reverse guidance system, which will give you a clear view of the trailer when backing up; a smart trailer tow connector; a fifth-wheel/gooseneck prep package; and a Tow/Haul mode with an integrated engine-exhaust brake system.
Interior
The cabin of the new F-250 is spacious, comfortable, and equipped with modern tech. With the XL trim, you'll get air conditioning, vinyl upholstery, and a rearview camera. The XLT trims offers the SYNC infotainment system with voice-command, a 4.2-inch display, a USB port, and SiriusXM. Other features added with this trim include lockable under-seat storage space, cruise control, and luxury cloth upholstery. <br></br> With the Lariat trim, you'll get the upgraded SYNC 3 infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system. The trim also features dual-zone automatic temperature control, power-adjustable pedals, a self-dimming rearview mirror, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather upholstery, and power-adjustable front seats. Higher trims add a navigation system, upgraded leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, driver-seat memory, heated rear seats, and remote start.
Safety Features
Available driver-assist features offered with the F-250 include a reverse sensing system, a blind-spot monitoring system with cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assist, trailer reverse guidance, adaptive cruise control, and 360-degree camera.
