2019 Ford Transit 250

The 2019 Ford Transit 250 is available in three trims: Commercial Cargo Van, XL Passenger Van, and XLT Passenger Van. The Commercial Cargo Van and XL Transit Passenger Van have a carbon black grille, while the XLT Passenger Van stands out with a chrome grille. Running boards and wheel well liners are available on all models. Powered short arm mirrors come standard, and manual short arm mirrors are available for fleets. <br></br> A builder's prep package is available on the XL and XLT Passenger vans, while the XLT also offers an RV prep package. The Commercial Cargo Van has several packages available as well, such as an interior upgrade package, exterior upgrade package, and ambulance prep package.

The 2019 Ford Transit 250 is available with three different engines. The standard engine is a 3.7-liter Ti-VCT V-6 that cranks out 275 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. The 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine has a gas torque rating of 400 pound-feet. A direct-injected 3.2-liter Power Stroke I-5 Diesel is also available.

Customizing the Transit 250 with lights or a winch is easier thanks to the factory-installed switches that are integrated into the instrument panel. Heavy loads are no problem for the Transit 250, as it can handle payloads up to 4,060 pounds. All models include independent front suspension with MacPherson strut and stabilizer bar, and the rear suspension has leaf springs and heavy-duty gas shock absorbers. A front overhead console on medium and high roof models is standard, and cruise control with message center is optional on the Commercial Cargo and XL Passenger vans and standard on the XLT Passenger van. <br></br> Front air conditioning is standard on the Commercial Cargo Van, while front and rear air conditioning are standard on the XL and XLT passenger vans. Plug your smartphone, laptop, or portable printer into the included power inverter and stay productive. SYNC 3, a 4-inch multi-function display, USB port, and HD and SIRIUS capability are also available on all models.

The 2019 Transit 250 has driver and passenger air bags as well as Safety Canopy side-curtain air bags. Available safety features include lane-keeping alert with driver alert, rear view camera with trailer hitch assist, and SOS post-crash alert system.
