2023 Ford Transit

The 2023 Ford Transit is available in three configurations: Cargo, Passenger XL, and Passenger XLT. In addition, the van has three roof heights and three body lengths available. It comes standard with a power sliding passenger-side door and cargo area tie-downs, while you can add foglights and running boards. You can easily load and unload items through the wide-opening rear cargo doors and use the step in the rear bumper to hop up into that cargo area.

You'll find one of two powertrain options with the 2023 Ford Transit. The base 3.5-liter V-6 engine provides 275 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. The available turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 EcoBoost engine cranks out 310 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. Regardless of the engine, the van uses a 10-speed automatic transmission to send power to the wheels. You can also choose between rear- or all-wheel drive, although rear-wheel drive is standard.

To enhance your driving performance, the 2023 Ford Transit comes with five drive modes: Haul, Mud, Ruts, Slippery, and Tow. If you're interested in taking the van off the beaten path, consider adding the Adventure Prep Package. This option features an increased ride height, wider track, and standard all-terrain tires. Its all-wheel-drive system maximizes traction and enhances overall handling. Also, when properly equipped, the van has a maximum towing capacity of 6,900 pounds.

Seating arrangements inside the 2023 Ford Transit range from the basic, which includes two- or five-seat configurations, to the more shuttle-friendly, which includes eight-, 10-, 12-, 14-, or 15-seat configurations. For ultimate comfort, certain seats feature four-way manual swivel seats.
