Power
Both the 2020 F-150 and F-250 are available with three different powertrains, depending on the trim. A 3.5-liter EcoBoost is also available and gets 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. The Lariat trim has a 5.0-liter V-8 engine under the hood as standard equipment, but a Power Stroke turbodiesel and EcoBoost V-6 are also available. The engines in the Ford F-150 are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The F-250 comes standard with a 6.2-liter V-8 engine that gets 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift. A 6.7-liter Power Stroke V-8 turbo engine is also available and gets 300 pound-feet of torque. If you’re looking for the most power, look towards the 7.3-liter V-8 engine, which gets an impressive 430 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque.
