Mark your calendar for Rochesterfest, which brings the city to life in late June. The festival is an excellent opportunity to relax in the sun and catch up with friends and family. You can also participate in the family-friendly 3-mile run or walk or the evening-blacklight run for a more daring race.

Quarry Hill Nature Center
Spend a day hiking or watching nature at the Quarry Hill Nature Center, located a few miles from downtown Rochester. Quarry Hill Nature Center is a 329-acre park home to more than 35 different native animal species. Bring your binoculars and spend the day in the center spotting different animals and birds. The Quarry Hill Nature Center also has a 1700-gallon aquarium with seven different types of fish and two raptors.
